Some years ago, my Bestie suggested we should sign up for an art class. I thought “why not?” and so began the wonderful process of learning, appreciating and creating art I had never dreamed I was capable of. I firmly believe that you don’t need a great talent to become an artist. You just need to want it, be prepared to learn and practice and, most importantly, be brave enough to try new things even though you might end up with a complete mess. And if you do, you pick yourself up and try all over again!

Over the years, and with the help and encouragement of the fantastic team at Splashout Art Studios, I’ve developed my skills and style and am creating work that I’m confident enough to put ‘out there’.
